Expression of Interest to feature in Green Technology Providers Directory

The Sustainable Island Mauritius, under the Tourism Authority, will launch the first Directory of Green Technology Providers available on the island by May 2022. The directory will be in an e-brochure format, to make it more accessible to the greater public.


A Green product/Green technology refers to a product that improve operational performancewhile also reducing costs, energy consumption, waste, or negative effects on the environmentduring their manufacture, use, and disposal. Generally organic, ecological, recyclable, andenergy-saving products are considered green products.


The objective is to provide to Tourism Operators a full list of companies providing GreenSolutions to whom they may approach in a view to embarking onto the sustainable journey.

We invite you to fill in this form, should you have a product which is considered as a Green technology.

There are two distinct categories namely Green Technologies and Green Technology Providers in Mauritius and Small Green Measures and Technology Providers in Mauritius. We also included a format with some examples for ease of comprehension you can access it through this link.


The publication is free of charge while the distribution will be to 6000+ tourism operators licensed by the Tourism Authority.

Improving Sustainaible Tourism In Mauritius through Greening the Value Chain of Tour Operators (SUS-ISLAND) is a Switch Africa grand project funded by the European Commission and led by Mauritius Tourism Authority. Its objective is to promote sustainaible tourism in Mauritius by demonstration and scaling up a self-sustaining mechanism for improving  sustainaibility impacts along the value chain improving awareness and market of sustainaible tourism products.
