Mauritius Tourism Roadshow is coming to Germany

MTPA is hosting a series of roadshow in Germany; an opportunity for local players to present their products and services, to attract more international tourists and to further boost the economy for a strong rebound in the tourism industry. This time around, the roadshow will kick off from 4th to 8th July 2022 across Deutschland, in the cities of Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg and Hannover.

The delegation will also involve representatives from the Tourism Authority; an excellent platform for the latter to network and engage discussions with travel trade partners specialised in sustainable tourism, meet with Association, NGOs and Green Technology Providers supporting the green transition, and promote local operators that have demonstrated commitment to green and sustainable tourism and developed packages in line with the best sustainable criteria. Above all, the SIM project shall officially launch The Wise Dodo package during a press conference in Hamburg.

Improving Sustainaible Tourism In Mauritius through Greening the Value Chain of Tour Operators (SUS-ISLAND) is a Switch Africa grand project funded by the European Commission and led by Mauritius Tourism Authority. Its objective is to promote sustainaible tourism in Mauritius by demonstration and scaling up a self-sustaining mechanism for improving  sustainaibility impacts along the value chain improving awareness and market of sustainaible tourism products.
